I had a problem with the defrost cycle on my JennAir refrigerator. I called an authorized service company, but they told me the issue couldn’t be fixed because the control board was no longer available on the market. They said the only solution was to replace the entire refrigerator. Later, I contacted US Appliance, and a technician named Albert came to check it out. Although the part he brought wasn’t the exact same control board, he figured out a way to make it work by adding a few connecting wires and installing the new board. Since then—since July—the refrigerator has been working perfectly! The total cost was under $450 for the parts (board and wires) plus $400 for labor, so I spent less than $850 in total. I ended up saving more than $10,000, since a new high-end JennAir refrigerator costs around $12,000 today. I’m still so grateful to Albert for his excellent service! 😀😄😊😁 ~ jae l
